Valentine's Day

We always love valentines day in our house because it gives us one more reason to be festive and decorate and of course the kids love getting a few naughty sweet treats ;). I decorated the breakfast nook the night before while the kids were asleep, I knew they would LOVE to wake up and come downstairs to see the decorations and their little gifts set up. My mom was also in town for that week, she wanted to spend some time with the kids and give the hubby and I the opportunity to have a V-day date alone for the first time in 6 years! They baked cookies with Abuelita, and we all went to Alyssa's school for her Valentine's party her class had. Another great day of love for this family! The hubby and I actually went on our date the next night (friday night) and it was really nice to be able to get away just us two for a little bit, and enjoy eating dinner without feeding or cleaning kids, or taking them to the bathroom a million times and eating cold food LOL. We enjoyed it so much actually that we told my mom we would fly her in every month so she could spend time with the kids and we could have some alone time. Date night will now be a more regular thing for this couple! woohoo!!! Hope everyone else's Valentine's Day was full of love and spent with people who love each other :)
